ABBY GLORE, LCSW
I am Abby Glore, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, whose passion is helping people navigate their challenges and embrace valued living. Creating a space filled with compassion and empathy is my priority, as it will allow people to safely express themselves and discuss their concerns. Connection and trust are key to making it easier to speak openly about one’s goals.
My therapeutic approach involves using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). CPT is specifically focused on helping clients reduce their PTSD symptoms and learning strategies to improve their overall functioning. These evidenced-based treatments help improve emotional flexibility and incorporate healthy coping strategies to manage life’s difficult moments. I am actively engaged with clients through the therapeutic process, monitoring their progress regularly, and engaging the family as needed. By working with me, clients and their families develop a better understanding of their strengths, their challenges, and what is important to them.
I also have a great passion for working with maternal mental health and pregnancy loss. Wherever you might be in your journey I am here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to help heal wounds and provide support for navigating the complex task of parenting.
